NOVA UD — Unlock Development
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
What we collect
To provide the service, NOVA UD Library processes the following categories of information:
- Account data: email address, display name, and a password hash (your password is never stored in plaintext).
- Session data: sign-in sessions and their timestamps (used to keep you signed in and manage active sessions).
- Licence data: redeemed access keys (stored only as a hash and a masked form), the ebook activated, the access duration and expiry date, and your acknowledgement of immediate digital access.
- Reading data: reading progress (current page), bookmarks and any notes, associated with your account.
- Technical/security data: IP address, browser/device user-agent string, and security/audit logs used for rate limiting, fraud prevention and support.
We do not collect or store payment card details — purchases and payment processing are handled by the separate SellAuth storefront. We do not run third-party advertising or marketing trackers on the site.
How we use it
- to create and authenticate your account
- to verify access keys and attach licences to your account
- to provide the digital content and maintain your personal library
- to save and synchronise your reading progress, bookmarks and notes across devices
- to provide customer support and investigate issues
- to prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access
- to meet legal, security and accounting requirements
Legal basis for processing
Depending on the processing activity and your jurisdiction, we process your information on the basis of providing the contract/service to you, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in securing the platform and preventing fraud, and your consent where required (for example, your acknowledgement of immediate digital access).
Data retention
Account and licence data is retained while your account is active, and afterwards for as long as required for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes. Security and rate-limiting logs are retained only for a limited period appropriate to their purpose.
Your rights
Depending on your country or region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, to data portability, to withdraw consent where it applies, and to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at millioncourse@gmail.com.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure password hashing and encrypted storage of sensitive data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to protect your data to a commercially reasonable standard.
